About Prancier

Prancier is an invitation to discover the world with me while living freely and doing what makes you happy and fulfilled: gorilla tracking in the Congo, sipping cocktails on a NYC rooftop, or simply relaxing on the beach with friends/family/doggies. After living in Cuba for 20 years and NYC for 5, I’ve learned that what’s important to me is freedom: freedom to believe and speak and act, and most importantly the freedom to follow my dreams. There’s something to be said for appreciating the simpler lifestyle, the local lifestyle, in every place you visit across the world. While most blogs tell you about the tourist sites and well known destinations, I try to cultivate a travel and life experience that brings us to unique destinations and encourages exploration and discovery. We’ve all seen the Instagram pics of the Eiffel Tower, but what about that charming sidewalk café far from the tour buses, where you can sit and write and daydream while surrounded by locals and the true soul of the place you have traveled to? It’s not all about going across the world either: part of what I’m passionate about is sharing the recipes, health tips, and fashion advice that I know and love, inspired by the experiences of my life. That’s what I will share with you through Prancier, along with everything else that we as a like-minded community appreciate and want to read about. Come and join me as I seek out the treasures that my 12-year-old Cuban self could only imagine. I want to share what I see and do as best I can through words and pictures while inspiring you to go on similar journeys or, even better, completely new adventures! I continue to discover myself as I make new friends and share my passion with the old ones, all while chasing what makes me truly happy: the spirit of authentic adventures and unique escapades of my own creation!
