Inspirational Quotes to Motivate You in Life
Life is not always amazing, and we don’t always wake up in the best mood or feeling like the best versions of ourselves. Every one of us goes through ups and downs. These are simply natural ebbs and flows to our emotions that we as humans experience. Yet with the widespread use of social media and technology, there is a new belief that we should be happy and upbeat every single day of our lives!
But if we all be incredibly honest with ourselves, the older we get the easier it is to get overwhelmed by workplace, household, and family responsibilities. We are more prone to let tiredness and stress creep in, and to feel less motivated to prioritize ourselves, our minds, and our well being. Truly comprehending the toll that stress and overwhelming situations can cause us is the first step. Next comes the search for things that will make us mentally stronger and allow us to carry out our daily responsibilities, while also opening space in our minds for positivity and inner strength.
As someone who's always looking to keep a positive mindset and put mindfulness and mental health first, I have found that words can impact us more than you might think. I’m always searching for tips and tricks that will help maintain a state of mental positivism, especially during difficult moments or when experiencing challenges like quarantine or seasonal depressions.
With that in mind, I recently started focusing on how to use inspirational quotes and motivational words to strengthen myself. I started journaling, which I love! I find that sometimes sad thoughts can creep in while I’m reflecting. Trying to move a step forward, I regulary incorporate words of affirmations into my morning and night routines. These have completely changed my life! Repeating a set of phrases has given me the opportunity to focus completely on the meaning behind the words. This also helps to keep my thoughts from going to more negative things, which sometimes can encourage depression and anxiety.
Quotes and affirmations are truly a great tool when said with intent. That’s why I decided to gather some of my favorite quotes and create a list with the ones I find most helpful.
What are the best inspirational quotes?
There are many positive books, motivational stories and phrases out there, some written by very famous and successful people and others anonymous. I’ve made a compilation of some of the ones that seem most powerful and speak to my heart. These are some of MY favorites, but you can always find or create your own quotes!
After all, the most inspiring motto in life is the one that speaks to you and your heart, the one that touches your mind and motivates you to be and do your best. These long or short quotes can help you do things that you might not have thought were possible and pursue dreams you have been keeping in the back of your mind. But most importantly, inspirational quotes will be a tool for you to see life through a more positive lens.
I believe that the quotes and words you put into the world will be reflected in your mind, and your newfound energy will allow you to pursue your goals fearlessly. Beyond the good vibes and motivation these quotes will bring, there's also the fact that great minds lived by these words!

Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soulmate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? “When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out; Don’t give up though the pace seems slowYou may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than, It seems to a faint and faltering man, Often the struggler has given up, When he might have captured the victor’s cup, And he learned too late when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside outThe silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far, So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hitIt’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.” -Edgar Albert Guest
